Homeland Stores is a chain of supermarkets operated by Associated Wholesale Grocers, a Missouri-based cooperative, through its Associated Retail Grocers subsidiary. Associated is a retailer-owned cooperative that supplies more than 850 retail grocery stores in 10 states. AWG provides nearly three-quarters of the products sold in Homeland Stores. The stores offer products through conventional grocery departments, including bakery, deli, floral, health and beauty, meat and produce. Its bakery department offers fresh baked breads, rolls and cookies, and custom-designed birthday and wedding cakes. Some of its stores provide a range of deli salads, side dishes, fried or rotisserie cooked chicken for lunch, dinner or picnics. The produce department includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, seasonal favorites and specialty items. Its new Homeland One Card provides customer with rewards, double coupons and sweepstakes entries. Homeland Stores maintains locations in cities throughout the United States, including Norman, Okla.
