CLASP Children's Center has been providing quality year-round childcare for working families in Great Neck and surrounding communities for more than 34 years. Childcare is available for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 18 months to 5 years -- and soon to include infants ages 12 weeks to 18 months. Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided.
CLASP is licensed by the New York State Office of Family and Children's Services (OCFS). Tuition is based on a sliding fee scale according to family income, and financial assistance is available to those who qualify. CLASP also contracts with the Nassau County Department of Social Services (DSS) for income-eligible families.

Classes look to foster gentle separation and improve socialization, but, says Haut, parents must make the commitment. For more information on classes and financial aid, visit the center's website.
