Located off First Avenue in the Old Northeast, St. Pete Prep is not a preparatory school but a pre-school that prepares youngsters for their grade-school education. "We learn something new each day," is the motto at the learning center, which has a shaded playground. The school has specific programs, based on age groups and development levels. It is licensed as a pre-school as well as a before and after-care center. It also runs a summer camp.
Revealing Truth Ministries is a Christian-based bible teaching ministry located on Armenia Avenue in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa. The center is continually expanding, with campuses throughout southern and central Florida. Revealing Truth Ministries also runs services in Spanish here at the flagship location and offers a variety of programs and activities for parishioners including a youth group known as Core Student Ministries.
A Child's Galaxy believes in smaller class sizes in an atmosphere reminiscent of home. It offers toddler, preschool, VPK, summer camp and after-school programs for kids from 4 months to 12 years old.
The school has been run by Carol Daniel and Kristen Terrell, a mother-and-daughter team who purchased it in 2004.
