The Country School is an independent, coeducational day school that welcomes children in preschool through grade 8. The school offers a challenging academic program that emphasizes hands-on learning and strives to create motivated, enthusiastic and curious students.

For 16 years The Childrens Creative Learning Center located at 104 Elm St. has dedicated itself to providing a safe nurturing environment where learning is celebrated. Under the direction of Carrie Lau, the center has programs for each age group, between six weeks and 13 months.
This school for 3- to 5-year-olds is affiliated with Milford Christian Church, which is right next door. The young students are taught how to write. They are also prepared to read so they can ultimately soar into grade school.
Since 1993, Duck Pond Day Care has offered full and part time daycare services for preschool and pre-kindergarten aged children. Duck Pond Day Care is inside a large converted home on New Haven avenue and accepts cash and personal checks. Average class sizes range between 10-15 children and operational hours are from 7:15am to 6pm.
This is a before- and after-school program provided for students from kindergarten through fifth grade under the auspices of the Middlesex County YMCA. Each of Middletown's eight public elementary schools has a program on-site. Kids' Korner programs adhere to the school calendar, with programs beginning on first day of school and ending on the last.
