COLUMBUS DANCE THEATREColumbus Dance Theatre is a contemporary ballet company, school, and local arts presenter. Founded in 1998, CDT will present its 12th annual season in its home theatre, the Fisher Theatre, and at various venues throughout metro-Columbus and nationally. CDT is a nationally recognized arts organization with a significant history of community involvement through its professional company, school, and its new role as a leading sponsor of independent artists in Central Ohio. Columbus Dance Theatre will partner with multiple arts and community organizations during this ninth season including: Opera Columbus, Carpe Diem String Quartet, Thurber House, The Lancaster Festival, Childrens Dance Workshop of Florida, WOSU-Television, Mid-Ohio Food Bank, and First Community Church. Dozens of artists of national and international caliber will participate in CDTs season. Columbus Dance Theatre will unite the Columbus arts community in a season of dance that both entertains and encourages social understanding. Welcome to Marjorie Jones Schools We are proud to celebrate more than 5 decades of tradition and teaching excellence at Marjorie Jones Schools Inc Our students are trained in dance technique, as well as given the opportunity to "Shine" on stage. Dozens of graduates of the Marjorie Jones Schools have attended university and college dance major/minor programs. Our former students have founded Modern Dance Companies; choreographed for & performed with major companies across the United States and Europe, performed in Broadway productions, including the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, and performed for Disney and Carnival Cruise Lines. Founded in 1960- Dancing with the Marjorie Jones Schools is an exciting, learning experience for the Pre-Schooler to the Pre-Professional. Our dance program is a training regimen for the student who wishes to pursue a career in dance, as well as for one who desires simply to develop a love and appreciation of the arts. The best of Broadway, the elegance of the Classics, and the impact of Modern; whatever style it takes we cover the world of dance.

Our dance studio is dedicated to providing the highest quality professional dance education in a positive and welcoming environment. We are passionate about the level of technique we provide in our dance classes, as well as the self confidence, discipline and work ethic that our students gain through our qualified staff. We offer a variety of classes for ages 3 to 18 and have a competitive dance team that travels to conventions all over the nation. Ballet is the foundation that each student needs to succeed in all other forms of dance. In addition to our ballet classes, we also offer Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap and Musical theater classes for all ages!
