Performer's Edge Dance Company, formerly Miss Harriet's Dance Studio, is run and owned by Miss Terri, the youngest daughter of Miss Harriet. She has been teaching dance for more than 25 years, and the studio is located in the heart of downtown Northville. It offers a wide range of classes for all ages, from tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. There are 10 instructors; some teach specific dance and some teach it all. Male instructors are available. Season runs September through mid-June. Payments can be paid in one of three options. Tuition fees are nonrefundable. Zumba classes on Wednesday from 8:15pm - 9:15pm.
Center Stage Dance Company in Northville is a noncompetitive studio committed to teaching the art of dance for physical, emotional and mental enrichment. Dance builds self-esteem and confidence. The company offers many opportunities for dance through seasonal tours, special events and annual recitals. It has been teaching dance classes for the last 22 years. The studio is located on the north side of 7 mile in the Northville Research Center, just east of Northville Road.
Arthur Murray Dance Studios specializes in Ballroom and Latin dancing. Private lessons are available and singles and couples are invited. There are many dances to choose from, from the waltz, fox trot, swing, salsa, hustle, Argentine tango, country western and ballroom dancing. Instructors are carefully trained to give you the best dance instruction possible. Weekly dance parties are held so you can try out the moves you've learned in a relaxed and fun setting with your instructor. Group classes allows you to dance with a variety of people and accommodate all levels of instruction.
