Dedicated to teaching the art of dance in its many forms for more than 30 years, San Ramon Valley Dance Academy offers classes for students of all levels and ages. Traditional ballet classes are available as well as modern, jazz, hip-hop, tap and Bollywood classes, which are growing increasingly popular. The academy also has gymnastics, tumbling and Pilates-based stretch classes for those looking to improve coordination, flexibility and strength. Children with special needs are invited to join a program designed with their abilities in mind.
The dedicated faculty has years of combined professional training and experience. Master classes with some of the nation's foremost choreographers and teachers are also offered.
The dance school also features a dance shop that carries dance shoes, attire, costumes and props.
Sonoma Ballet Conservatory teaches a curriculum based on the Royal Academy of Dance. The conservatory offers classes in Jazz, Flamenco, Character, Modern, Drama, Feldenkrais, Gyrokenisis, Pilates, Conditioning, Stretching and Yoga.
Joseph's Cafe has been a restaurant and nightclub spot in Hollywood since the early eighties. Its menu offers moussaka, Athenian chicken pasta and Achiote swordfish. It has a happy hour from 3pm - 7pm, Monday through Friday. Its nightclub features a dance floor and occasional guest DJs and performers. The nightclub and restaurant are Greek and Moroccan themed, with colorful murals and several statues. It us available for corporate and private events.
By day, Alberto's rests quietly among the bustle of downtown's shops and restaurants. But, when the sun sets, Alberto's orange entryway comes alive with the sounds of salsa music. Every night, professional dancers lead the crowd in that day's particular moves: Sundays and Mondays are tango; Tuesdays and Thursdays are the club's official salsa step; the Dominican Republic-derived bachata is featured on Wednesdays; Fridays are random and Saturdays are reserved for rock Español.
TENIA RAENI WORICK is an award-winning salsa dance instructor, dancer, and choreographer. She teaches dance lessons in Los Angeles and holds salsa classes and events all over the South Bay, including Redondo Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes, and Culver City.
Tenia has been teaching salsa for 17 years. She is known for organizing salsa events and fund-raisers to help build the L.A. Salsa community. Her classes have been featured in the LA Times, Daily Breeze and in LA Magazine’s list of the “101 Sexiest Things To Do in Los Angeles”. She co-founded L.A.’s first all-female performance team, “Stiletto Salsa”, has performed on stage with Tito Puente and is a featured dancer in television and film. She is known for hosting Salsa Meet Ups throughout L.A.
Right in the Russian neighborhood of West Hollywood, three young club visionaries opened a small Russian themed bar/lounge called Bar Lubitsch. It has the look and feel of a very old bar in pre-revolution Moscow. DJs are in the mix playing eclectic lounge music, including James Bond movie themes. There's a small dance floor and it stocks over 200 brands of vodka, served chilled in ice cold glasses and shakers. The only thing missing is the caviar, but you can get that right next door at one of the Russian markets.
The Just Dance Academy teaches students recreational and concentrated dancing in a safe and friendly environment. They offer weekly classes in modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and contemporary dance styles. In addition to bi-annual recitals, the Academy participates in dance competitions throughout the year in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anyone who has been in the program for at least a year and has reached the second grade can audition to take part in them.

The music hall is small enough that any seat in the house provides a good view of the stage, or you can get up and dance the night away on the dance floor that leads right up to the stage. For certain shows on Moe's outdoor patio, customers can order food provided by Conscious Creations, which specializes in dishes made with local organic ingredients.
