Dance classes Culture Shock All adult classes are continuous and ongoing. Students may start classes at any time. Youth classes are taught in 8 week sessions, registration is required.Culture Shock Dance Center is proud to be the home of the world famous hip hop dance team Culture Shock San Diego Many of our teachers are members of Culture Shock San Diego. In addition to these teachers we have assembled a teaching staff that represents the most cutting edge and original hip hop dance styles. This is the real deal, pure hip hop dance. Culture Shock Dance Center takes great pride in having the most comprehensive, diverse hip hop and contemporary urban dance program in Southern California.Culture Shock is also home to the spectacular jazz company, Unity Dance Ensemble, directed by Tessandra Chavez and Theo Ivey, who also teaches Advanced Jazz. Our jazz staff is joined by Unity member Sara Shepich, and many guest teachers.
