Foremost Farms USA is a dairy cooperative that is owned by more than 3,700 dairy farmer members in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. In 2003, the cooperative supplied nearly 5 billion pounds of milk. It is one of the top 10 milk-producing dairy cooperatives in the Unites States, with sales that reached more than $1.2 billion in 2003. An employer of nearly 1,500, Foremost Farms USA maintains more than 20 locations throughout the Upper Midwest that processes and markets a full line of dairy products and ingredients for the wholesale and retail marketplaces. Products include packaged fluid milk, juices, cheese, sour cream, butter and multiple value-added whey ingredients. Foremost Farms USA maintains a location in Appleton, Wis.
