The Riverside Fire Authority ( RFA ) was officially established on January 1, 2008. The RFA joins the existing resources from the Centralia Fire Department and Lewis County Fire District 12 to provide fire and emergency medical services to the city of Centralia and the surrounding neighborhoods. Riverside Fire Authority provides modern, progressive and professional services to approximately 26, 000 citizens residing throughout the 184 square miles of Centralia, Hanaford Valley, Seminary Hill, Cooks Hill, Lincoln Creek Valley, Independence Valley and Garrard Creek.
