The Hampden County Correctional Center, also known as HCCC, is a part of the Hampden County Sheriffs Department. It provides a range of community service programs. The center supervises more than 1,800 offenders in the various levels of security. It imprisons pretrial detainess and sentenced individuals with two and a half years and less. The Hampden County Correctional Center offers institutional orientation services for inmates. It also conducts medical, mental health and educational tests. The center provides fundamental programming and transitional programs. The Hampden County Sheriffs Department also operates the Hampden County PreRelease Center and the Hampden County Community Safety Center.
