The New Psalmist Retreat and Meeting Center (NPRMC) was birthed as a result of public demand by which the New Psalmist Baptist Church (its parent organization) has served for more than 117 years. While the church has always been a strong pillar in the Baltimore City community it realizes that we must help the members of our community help themselves, thus the NPRMC was birthed with a goal of creating economic empowerment opportunities for its members and small business owners. We will accomplish our goal by providing jobs (approximately 150 over the next 2 years), economic empowerment, brand exposure and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as provide on the job training to the underprivileged living within Baltimore communities. The New Psalmist Retreat and Meeting Center is the second largest meeting and event space located within the Baltimore metropolitan area. With convention center and banquet hall capacity, and equipped with state of the art audio, visual, lighting, promotional services and delectable catering options, NPRMC offers its clients affordable one-stop-shop service accompanied by impeccable presentations and incomparable services. NPRMC target audience is national conferences and conventions that bring thousands of visitors to the city of Baltimore. At the same time, the center will maintain the momentum that has been established by the church in servicing local business’ individuals and nonprofit organizations.
