Lucas Oil Stadium is a stadium located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lucas Oil Stadium currently houses the NFL team the Indianapolis Colts. The stadium opened under its current name on August 16, 2008 with the construction taking just under three years at a cost of just over $720 million, $768 in present day dollars. In 2006 Lucas Oil signed a 20-year $121 million naming rights deal. The stadium was built to replace the aging RCA Dome.
The Indianapolis Colts are two time Super Bowl Champions and are members of the South Division of the American Football Conference within the NFL. They are known by their team colors consisting of blue and white. The current owner of the Indianapolis Colts is Jim Irsay.
The stadium currently holds 62,421 fans. There are 137 luxury suites and thousands of seats at the club level. Currently, it was the 30th largest stadium in the NFL. Admission to Bankers Life Fieldhouse depends on the event. The Box Office is located in the Entry Pavilion, and its hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On event days, the Box Office opens at least two hours prior to the event.
Must See/Do at Bankers Life Fieldhouse
Visit Home Court, the 10,000-square foot official gift shop of the Pacers and the Fever. The shop includes a bar, a Dunkin' Donuts, interactive activities for all ages, a 12-foot tall Boomer (the Pacers mascot), and an 18-foot in diameter basketball. The Locker Room Restaurant has a wide array of food available in addition to a fully-stocked bar. It is open to Suite ticket holders, Courtside Seat ticket holders, and Sponsors during Pacers games and to all ticket holders during Fever games. It opens one and a half hours before tipoff.
