Cumberland Farms is part of a local chain that began in Cumberland, Rhode Island, in 1939 as two brothers, Vasilios and Aphrodite Haseotos, with a single cow and a desire to create their own dairy farm. Five years later, their dream became a reality and their family dairy was up and running.
Fast-forward 70 years, and Cumberland Farms has almost 600 stores in more than 11 states—two of which are in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The Point Judith Cumberland Farms is located on Point Judith Road, minutes from the Port of Galilee. (The other is located on Boston Neck Road on the north end of town).
