Our residents say The Baird feels like home because it is. We may not be the biggest facility in Rochester, but our smaller, more intimate facility, provides residents with much more than simply a place to live. Each individual benefits from a community based on family ideals, where personal interests are achieved and lasting friendships are formed. With just 28 residents, we’re more like an extended family than a nursing home. Not only do our caregivers truly know each resident and their families, but they’re able to spend the extra time that it takes to understand and focus on the unique needs and goals of each resident. Entertainment & Programs: Being active is an important part of enhancing ones quality of life. At The Baird Nursing Home, our Activities Department provides residents with a wide range of special programs and regular activities that serve many purposes. They help to encourage socialization between our residents and their families. Also, the activities help to stimulate both body and mind; and, of course, theyre just a lot of fun!
