Papa's on Naugatuck Avenue is an old-fashioned take-out pizza place--not much to look at but great food. Family-owned for generations, Papa's adheres to the theory that excellent food and a homey atmosphere brings in customers. And, he's right. Papa's second location on Bridgeport Avenue opened in March 2008 to accommodate pizza lovers in the downtown area.

Michael Anthony's has been family owned and operated since 1990 by Mike and Carmine. Offering take-out, delivery and catering, they specialize in "New Haven-style pizza", as well as dinners, hot and cold subs, soups, salads, appetizers and stuffed breads. Pizza parties and outdoor events are upon request. 12, 14, 16 and 18-inch pies are available.
