Consigning your wedding dress with The Shabby Chic Bride is a simple and safe way to share a loved or not so loved dress with another bride-to-be. Bring- in your dress and we do the work to show and sell your dress, and when your dress becomes "the one" for a new bride you get a check in the mail. Bridal fashion is constantly changing therefore, we only accept dresses 5-years and newer. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to accept every dress for consignment. Thank you in advance for understanding. FAQ Does The Shabby Chic Bride "BUY" dresses? Answer: No we do not buy dresses, we consign them. What is consignment? Answer: We will take your dress into the store under contract, when it sells we will send you a check for 50% of the sales price, the other 50% goes to the store. We will work with you to set a price that you feel comfortable with. Will you hold a dress for me in case I am not sure? Answer: Yes, we would be happy to hold a dress. We will hold any items that you wish to purchase for up to 1 week. After 1 week yo umust buy the item or put it on lay away. What is your layaway policy? Answer: 10% down and 10% each month until the dress is paid in full. You pay not take the dress or start alterations until the dress is paid for in full. We also support the men and women serving our country. To show our appreciation, we offer a discount to all military personnel.
