West Point Foundry & Machine Company supplies parts and products to a number of textile machinery manufacturers. Its primary machinery products include sizing machines (slashers) for both spun and synthetic yarn, ball warpers, creels and long chain beamers for rope-dying indigo systems, high-speed warpers for v-type and magazine creels, heavy-duty direct beamers for synthetic yarns and tape, hydraulic corduroy cutting machines and corduroy brushers. West Point began operations in 1868 under the name of West Point Ironworks. In 1932, the company was renamed West Point Foundry and Machine Company. Since then, it has expanded its markets to more than 75 countries. West Point also offers a diversity of contract manufacturing services. Pattern making and gray and ductile iron castings are located in its foundry services along with machining, fabrication, assembly, engineering and ASME vessels.
