Norristown Ministries Hospitality Center is located in the Heritage Office Building on Church Street. Norristown Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless of Montgomery County. Norristown Ministries is open during the day, Monday through Saturday, from 7am to 11:30am, for those who are hungry and without shelter. Supported 100 percent by volunteer donations.

Siloam Baptist Church is located on Willow Street in Norristown. Pastor John West leads the church in service. A men's chorus is held Friday nights at 7:30pm. There's a Thursday-evening tutorial program at 6pm for all those interested in Siloam. Siloam Baptist believes that the Holy Bible is the infallible word of God. It also holds fast to the belief that faith in Jesus Christ is the way to salvation. Siloam also offers a Wednesday-afternoon and -night Bible study, at noon and 7pm.
The Interfaith Hospitality Network — Main Line provides services to homeless families and indivduals in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties including temporary housing, meals and support services.

For more than 29 years, the Patrician Society of Central Norristown has been serving economically disadvantaged families in the greater Norristown area. In 2009, more than 1,300 families were served in one way or another, from children's summer camp to assistance paying winter heating bills. At times, the location has served as a homeless shelter, and provides job training for those seeking employment. Currently, they are operating an emergency food cupboard.
The First Presbyterian Church is located on East Airy Street. Pastor Paul Toms presides over the First Presbyterian Church of Norristown, and visitors are welcome to attend Sunday morning worship services, where emphasis is placed upon the Bible as the authoritative word of God.
