Assumption Church is a Tuckahoe-based religious institution offering mass services daily. Once per month the church offers one mass given in Italian and another in Spanish. Eric Raaser, Joseph Emmanuel and Kevin Malick are the pastors at Assumption Church.
You can't miss the massive classical tan brick building with the Doric pillars framing Depot Square. Inside the building, the Westchester Italian Cultural Center occupies 25,000 square feet. The church holds worship services every Sunday at 11am. Before service, education classes are offered from 9:30am to 11am. Bible study is held on Wednesdays from 7:30pm to 9pm, and communion services are offered every first Sunday of the month. Reverend Comas E. Bonaparte, Ph.D., is the pastor of the congregation.
John D'Arco is the director of Tuckahoe Community Center. It offers a wide range of programs and classes, including yoga, basketball, defensive driving and mother/child playgroups. Meeting space is also available, and the facility hosts Boy Scouts and Rotary functions.
