Based in Keene, N.H., Monadnock Family Services offers mental and emotional health care services and services for recovery from mental illness. It also provides acute care services available for 24-hour a day emergency interventions with psychiatric evaluations. Its acute care services activate the treatment and support systems required for responding to psychiatric emergencies and to stabilize the persons in crisis. The center has an adult outpatient program providing mental health evaluation and treatment to adults that include individual, group, couple and family counseling; and medication evaluation and monitoring. In addition, it offers a wide range of specialized educational and therapeutic groups offering its adult behavioral health services. Its respite program is a daytime and overnight care services to children with severe emotional disturbances. Monadnock Family Services also offers case management services to children diagnosed with major mental illnesses through its advocacy, coordination, referral and linkage to community-based supports and services.
