Galaxie Library offers many services, such as Interlibrary loans, ask-a-librarian, book discussion groups, Internet and computer software access, meeting rooms and test proctoring. Oak Meadows is owned and operated by Family Resources Development, Inc., a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Minnesota Conference of the United Church of Christ. The facility's on-site chaplain offers ecumenical and inter-faith celebrations, devotions and pastoral care. Its professional staff offers activities promoting ongoing social and emotional development, with private bus transportation for scheduled shopping trips and other events.  Oak Meadows contracts with Presbyterian Homes & Services doing business as Presbyterian Home Care. The Apple Valley Teen Center, near Eastview High School, is managed by the parks and recreation department. It provides an environment for students in sixth through the 12th grade to socialize casually. Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce serves the cities of Eagan, Farmington, Lilydale, Mendota Heights, Mendota, Rosemount, Sunfish Lake and West St. Paul. The chamber's mission is to "Shape public policy, provide networking, support educational opportunities and encourage business and community development." The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce holds many events to bring business owners and the community together.

The Eagan Area Business Council meets monthly to get updates on what's going on with businesses around the area, to get status reports from city staff and to find out how local policies are affecting businesses. Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce also holds a quarterly networking event as well as a Mayor's Breakfast, Holiday Luncheon and the State of the City address.

Those who wish to drop off items must show identification as the service is only open to county residents. The location also accepts recyclable material and electronics. Note that it's only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Airport Foundation MSP, formerly known as the Metropolitan Public Airport Foundation, is a nonprofit organization that works to enhance the environment of the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport, as well as supports the aviation community. It administers a range of programs that includes travelers assistance, beautification projects, and arts and culture. The ECVB is located inside the Eagan Community Center and is a vendor for the city. It is funded by 3 percent of lodging taxes. There are 15 hotels in Eagan. Of the income generated by the lodging taxes, 5 percent goes to the city for administrative fees and Eagan Convention and Visitors Bureau obtains the rest. ECVB is not membership-based.
