The history of Berean Bible Baptist Church dates back to 1976, when the founder, the late Dr. Herman Conley, began holding Bible study in his home. The church, now led by Senior Pastor Rev. Roger W.F. Skepple, later moved to Campbellton Road, before relocating to its current Butner Road location in 1994.

In that era of reconstruction, the area was owned by rich landowners and their servants needed a place to worship, having met unofficially and with no place of worship up until that point. In 1872, Mr. James "Whispering" Smith donated two acres for a church and school for African Americans in the area. Now, Sunday Services are held at 11am and Sunday School is held at 10am.

The Frazer Center is located in historic Druid Hills on the original estate of Cator Woolford. The Frazer Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides exceptional services to infants, preschoolers and adults with physical and developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, down syndrome, sickle cell anemia, autism spectrum disorders and other genetic anomalies.
