The Catholic Youth Organization operates St. Vincent's School for Boys, a multi-service agency serving children and families in the North Bay Area. There are three divisions, including: a residential treatment center for boys in San Rafael, a foster family agency with families in several counties, and two group homes in San Francisco serving adolescent girls and boys on probation. St. Vincent's School is a long-term treatment center with 40 beds for boys ages 7 to 19 who come from 30 different California counties.
First Presbyterian Church, located in downtown Redlands along Cajon Street, is a large church that includes a school behind it. The sanctuary is massive, with plenty of room for its members and guests. Services are at 9:30am on Sundays in the main building of the church, which was established in 1969. The church works with children and adults to educate about God and the Bible through study programs and youth initiatives. It also has several events each month within the church and throughout the city. Parking is free in a large lot behind the building, and new, interested parties are welcome to attend any services of the church and stick around after to speak with the pastor.
Petaluma Valley Baptist Church has been part of the community since 1969 and has a congregation of approximately 400 people. It's led by Senior Pastor Tom Marcum and offers a variety of ministries for young adults, men, seniors and more. It also organizes numerous missions to other countries, most recently to China and Mexico.
These Emmy- and Peabody-award winning producers put on the Berkeley Video and Film Festival and provide various film training services to up-and-coming filmmakers. It holds a number of workshops and classes on such topics as screenwriting, documentary production, editing and post-production. It also does video duplication and rents equipment to independent producers; a screening room is currently being built.

The Chamber includes nearly 700 business members. In exchange for an annual membership fee (which varies based on the type of business and the size), members receive benefits such as direct referrals to the public, a listing in the Chamber's online directory, opportunities to attend seminars and workshops on good business practices, networking opportunities, and help with starting a new business.

They also helped the students with job interviewing skills and developing their resume. Every year, the Chamber gives scholarships to students at Half Moon Bay and Pescadero High Schools. Chamber President Charise McHugh is also a champion of ecotourism, and has lead the Chamber's efforts to develop a program along the San Mateo County Coastside.

La Jolla Lutheran Church welcomes visitors to stop by and feel like part of an 'extended family.' Sunday worship is at 9:30 sharp. Pastor Mark has been heading this congregation for 14 years. There is also a Sunday School available immediately following the children's sermon. Feel free to dress casual or dressy for the services. There is a free parking lot available to all guests and members.
Sylvan Oaks Community Library is a library on the Southeast corner of Auburn Boulevard and Van Maren Lane. The building, which is surrounded by oak trees, neighbors Crosswoods Park. In addition to a collection of 84,000 books and magazines, there are 15 computers available for use. There is also a computer designated especially for children.
