Veterans Memorial Hall houses a large auditorium and club room in a Spanish terra cotta style. The hall has wooded floors, a stage and a two-story tall ceiling. The hall accommodates up to 250 people in a banquet setting and 400 in lecture style. Its renters are required to do their own set up and cleaning. With a full-time imam, it offers the five daily prayers, Arabic and Islamic classes for children, study groups for women and interfaith and community initiatives. Religious-school classes are held on Sundays, rather than the traditional Islamic Fridays, in accord with the American work and school week.
This branch of the Fremont-based nonprofit child care agency is at Marylin Elementary School. It offers full- and half-day programs for preschoolers ages three - five as well as Head Start and supportive services for parents, including mental health services. The facilities are extremely well-kept, and include a pleasant garden and dedicated play areas.

Robertson Community Park opened in 1966. It contains a group picnic area, picnic tables, soccer fields, riding arenas and stadium, horse trails, hiking and bicycle trails, restrooms, horseshoe pits and softball fields. More than half of the park's 133 acres was purchased from the Tobin family, which requested the park be named after their relative, Dr. John Robertson, an early Livermore physician who founded the Livermore Sanitarium.
