The City of Carlsbad Dove Library is a two-story complex with an attached art gallery, 215-seat auditorium, used book store and 67-seat meeting room. Films and concerts are often presented in the auditorium. Inside the library, there is a children's and teen section, each with special computer labs. There is also an outside garden to relax and read a book. There are tons of programs and classes offered for all ages at this branch. The Dove Library also rents its auditorium, courtyard and meeting spaces for private events.

Christ Presbyterian Church is a religious organization located on Centella Street in Carlsbad. The institution offers worship services throughout the week, including a contemporary and traditional prayer service on Sundays. The Monroe Street Pool includes a 25-yard by 25-meter pool, two 1-meter diving boards, a 3-meter diving board, a shallow play area and access ramp, six sets of bleachers and plenty of deck space. The facility includes shower areas, locker facilities and rest rooms.
The pool is a public pool, but there are fees for use. It's $2 for teens/youth, $3 for Carlsbad residents and $4 for non-residents.

The organization is a cooperative of pilots that shares a love of flying; it is united in supporting an organization responsive to its members. Members of PCF can train in the club aircraft and receive lessons from one of the many instructors to obtain any level of certificate.
Coastline Community Church is a religious institution located in La Costa. This Christian church welcomes everyone in the community no matter what their beliefs are.
