This is an after-school program located in the Cedar Ridge Housing Development. The program is for residents only, and offers Girl Scouts, Girl Power and Character Counts.
Located in the YMCA, this county-sponsored program offers middle and high school students a supervised, safe and entertaining place to spend time after school. All programs are offered free of charge. The facility is supervised by paid staffers and teens have access to a computer room, a game room, homework club and music programs. There are also a variety of sports programs and clubs such as karate, cooking and modeling, among others.
Located in the Reston Town Center, the pavilion features various seasonal activities in its open-air space. During the summer, the pavilion is home to Reston's free concert series, and during other times hosts the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival and Taste of Reston. From April through mid-October, the space is available to rent for private parties and events, business meetings and conferences, festivals, fund-raisers and more. Ice skating is open from the first of November through the second week of March, weather permitting. Skate rentals and other supplies are available on-site.
This modern facility is the local branch of the national nonprofit organization. It offers programming for all ages including exercise and wellness classes, swimming lessons, sports leagues and summer camp. Its facility includes a state-of-the-art exercise room, basketball courts, steam rooms, an indoor pool, a running track and a coffee bar. A variety of membership options are available to suit every individual and family.
The Southgate Community Center, operated by Fairfax County and the Reston Association, is a a 7,700-square-foot complex that serves the many minority and underserved residents nearby.
The center provides recreational facilities, such as outdoor basketball and tennis. The new facility opened in 2006.

This branch of the Reston Community Center is located on the plaza at historic Lake Anne. RCC's main facility is at Hunter's Woods. This center is home to the Jo Ann Rose Gallery as well as community meeting rooms for classes and special events.
The Reston Community Center (RCC) is a popular spot for athletic, cultural and community events. RCC offers more than 1,800 programs, for infants through senior citizens, and helps contribute to Reston's close community spirit. RCC is home to athletic facilities, including the newly refurbished indoor pool, and a wide variety of performing arts at the facility's CenterStage Theatre.
