Willston Multi-Cultural Center of Fairfax County offers a variety of services and classes for families, youths and seniors. After-school, mentoring and sports programs are available, as well as community meetings, dances and social events.
Located south of Route 50 next to Falls Church High School, Providence RECenter is part of the Fairfax County Park Authority. Members can take advantage of its facilities, which include a heated indoor pool, two spas, saunas, shower and locker rooms, three racquetball and wallyball courts and a fitness center that features a FitLinxx circut, over 20 cardiovascular machines and a pilates studio. Providence RECenter offers lessons and classes for members. Additinoally, the center has several multipurpose rooms, an arts and crafts room and a dance studio. Membership passes can be purchased per visit, by month or year or by the number of visits.
The Unity Club of Falls Church is located on the SE side of Broad Street, near the Intersection of Route 7 and South Washington Street in the City of Falls Church. The club serves as a meeting place for numerous recovery followships. The range of recovery fellowships include Alcohol Anonymous, Eating Disorder Anonymous, and Debtors Anonymous. Meetings generally last for an hour, and membership to attend recovery fellowships ranges from a $65 six-month trial to a $1,250 lifetime membership. Volunteers and donations are welcome, and the organization's Web site provides comprehensive information on membership and the types of recovery fellowhsips available.
The Falls Church Community Center is located adjacent to city hall. The facility is accessible by major streets and roads as well as nearby public transportation. The center is operated by city's Recreation & Parks Department.
This center is located between Pimmit Hills High School and Adult Center. The Pimmit Hills Citizens Association hosts meetings at the center for more than 1,600 residents.
Operated under the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, Aurora House is a live-in counseling center for girls ages 13 to 17. The center assists young women, who for a variety of reasons are unable to live with parents or family members, by offering long-term support in a structured nurturing environment.
