The Senior Center in Harrison is an extremely community focused organization. It strives to provide seniors with ample activity and enjoyment. The building itself hosts a kitchen, along with a meeting hall. Numerous events are held year-round at the center. These include exercise classes, line dancing, bingo and a variety of trips. The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester Teen Center serves students in grades six through 12. Programs focus on building self-esteem, teaching teens how to cope with peer pressure, encouraging community service and fostering an adolescent's character, personal growth and leadership skills.

The teen center also hosts Friday social events such as movie night, dances, battle of the bands, rap battles and open mic competition.

The membership fee is $50.

The Riverhead Senior Center, located on Shade Tree Lane in Aquebogue, is a community resource available to all town residents over the age of 60. A list of activities, ranging from bingo to musical performances to medicare question-and-answer sessions to exercise classes, are offered, with a detailed schedule available on the Web site. Founded in 1937, it provides supervised recreation, physical instruction, and educational, cultural and social programs for youth in Northern Westchester County in New York. Located inside the Veterans of Foreign Wars building on 1288 Boston Post Road, the Larchmont Mamaroneck Senior Center serves residents who are over 60 years old and live in Larchmont, Mamaroneck and the unincorporated area. Some non-residents are current members, but the center is no longer accepting non-resident applications. The center provides several recreational activities, including Italian conversation and Tai Chi classes, board games, film screenings, book discussions and day trips. The staff also accommodates daily door-to-door transportation, weekly grocery shopping trips and medical appointments, for a nominal contribution.

The Larchmont and Mamaroneck senior centers merged and moved to their present location in January 2009. The former centers were in the Town Center and in the Larchmont Public Library, respectively.

Congregation Anshei Shalom is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue that caters to members young and old. The synagogue has a beautiful sanctuary where services are held throughout the week, including daily minyanim, weekly shiurim and three Shabbat minyanim. The Marydell Faith and Life Center is a compound run by the Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine and can be rented for religious and spiritual retreats, gatherings, workshops, conferences and other events. The compound was founded in 1924 and 1925 as Save a Life Farm to provide inner city children with a rural experience. The Farm eventually transformed into the Marydell Camp for Girls, which closed in 1988. In 1990, the compound reopened as the Marydell Faith & Life Center.

Today, the center features a variety of facilities that accommodate retreats, including the Kateri lodge (which can house approximately 100 guests), a dining hall with a commercial-size kitchen, picnic areas and playgrounds, a swimming pool and mountain and river views.

The compound has limited space during summer, as it hosts camps for children.
