Turtle's is a fully restored, 1890s-era banquet facility that was completely renovated and re-opened in 1999. Turtle's is available for rental for weddings, reunions, parties, banquets, business meetings and other events. With a seating capacity of up to 250 guests, it features a stage and dance floor with sound and lighting system and antique mahogany bar.

The Shakopee Community Center is a local gathering spot equipped with a variety of  fitness equipment, a gym, a walking track and meeting space. It is also houses the Shakopee Ice Arena, Enigma Teen Center and the Shakopee Skate Park. The Community Center, Rotary Room, Studio Room and gym are available for rent by calling the city. Annual and monthly memberships are available; non-members pay daily user fees.

Located in a one-story building across from the expansive Jackson Park is the Jackson Township Hall. 

Currently closed due to the government shutdown, the Hall holds information about events occurring at the location on a bulletin board in front of the building.

There is a public playground on site as well as a small marsh area to the left of the building. A large parking lot is available for use.
