The Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, with 606 seats, is a performing arts stage that offers concerts, plays, recitals and other events.

This Elks Lodge, located behind Kroger off Powder Springs Road, is one of the oldest chapters of the Elks in the Southeast. The club occupies the birthplace of WM.G. McAdoo. The home was owned by S.B. Oatman during the battle of Kolb's Farm, which was part of the Kennesaw campaign.

The Order of Elks is a fraternal and religious organization that promotes charities throughout the country.

Nestled in a unique campus-like community setting, East Cobb Senior Center is adjacent to Mt. View Library, The Art Place, Mt. View Community Center and the Aquatic Center. The lodge-like 19,000 square foot facility is approximately 1/2 mile South of the intersection of Shallowford and Sandy Plains Roads, providing convenient and easy access.

The Center's special features include a dance floor, regulation billiards tables; a ventilated art room; computer room; classroom; two multipurpose rooms; a library and Grand Hall.

The Center provides an array of social, recreational an educational programs for active seniors over 55. Mini seminars and classes are offered quarterly. Activities, including senior club meetings, are ongoing daily. Special events are offered monthly, such as day trips, Center anniversaries, dances and social activities.

Senior Services transportation is not provided, but adequate parking space is available.

Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Community Center and Shephard Counseling Center is home to a host of activities, including seniors program Aloha to Aging. This is a program that services seniors in Cobb, Dekalb and Fulton counties, and their families. They can take part in Aloha Day Club programs of games, art, music and sing a-longs; family support meetings; educational programs; bereavement support groups and more. The community center is located just past the small farmer's stand on Lower Roswell Road.

The Marietta Parks and Recreation Department manages the city's park system and recreation centers and promotes sports and fitness, tourism, beautification projects and environmental awareness throughout the city.

The city is the steward of 18 parks, ranging from the 25-acre Laurel Park to Monarch Park's quarter-acre butterfly garden. The city also operates two recreation centers that provide after-school activities, classes and athletics.

This department is also responsible for Keep Marietta Beautiful, all of the city's cemeteries and city-sponsored special events.

The Parks and Recreation Department is located on the third floor of Marietta City Hall. Rich Buss serves as the director of Marietta Parks and Recreation.

The Northeast Cobb Family YMCA is a community center that offers a variety of programs for all ages. This location offers swimming lessons for kids, teens and adults, as well as exercise groups for yoga, group cycling, cross training and Zumba. This YMCA also offers kids' basketball, flag football, inline hockey, indoor soccer, gymnastics and dance.
