Arbor Greene Community Center has a playground, a pool with a lifeguard, a clubhouse and inside games. It is located in the center of the community so it is easy to get to from all directions.
A cooperatively owned senior community, Westwinds Village is a manufactured housing community offering a club house and activities for community residents. The club house features shuffleboard courts, billiards and community activities such as game nights and holiday parties.
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. The fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life and the local branch was chartered in 1982. The Sahib Shriners offer a member business directory, which is comprised of attorneys, accountants, photographers, contractors, home improvement companies, insurance providers and financial services. The group has a restaurant open for the public and also offers a facility that is available for rent for all types of occasions, including meetings, conventions, private groups and social organizations. The facility is comprised of a grand ballroom with room for more than 400 guests and a main hall that can be used for parties, weddings, anniversaries and class reunions. Banquet services include a full service bar, a full kitchen, a buffet, cocktail services and fine dining meal options.
The Dunedin Community Center offers opportunities to exercise or spend time with friends or loved ones. The center contains a multi-purpose room for concerts and stage performances, a children's area, classroom space, a dance and exercise room, a fitness and workout center, a recording studio and more.
The center hosts classes and club meetings, and its rooms and the Highlander Pavilion on Wee Loch Ness, on the center campus, can be rented out.
The town of Safety Harbor owns two community and recreation facilities: Rigsby Recreation Center and Safety Harbor Community Center. The Rigsby Center hosts events for area residents, including bridge games. Residents from Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs and Dunedin can use the Rigsby Recreation Center as part of the Recreation Reciprocity Agreement between the four towns. The facility can also be rented for private functions.
The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is home to many concerts, plays, musicals, stand-up comedians and performing artists. Sarasota Bay provides a beautiful backdrop to the Van Wezel. The box office is located on the east side of the building and the entrance is on the north. The Van Wezel opened in 1970 with a performance of Fiddler on the Roof.
With its bright murals and warm colors, the Pasco County Senior Service Center in Land O' Lakes invites area seniors age 60 and over in for meals and company five days a week. The elderly nutrition program is sponsored by Pasco County with funding from Florida's Department of Elder Affairs. The center also serves as the staging site for Central Pasco's Meals on Wheels program. Participation requirements vary for both programs.
The Land O' Lakes Community Center is a Pasco County park that sits on 16.4 acres on Land O' Lakes Boulevard. The park includes an indoor facility that hosts classes and community events. Visitors can find ball fields, a playground and more. The park also serves as the site of an annual haunted house and many other traditional events.
