Located at the southwest corner of South Roxbury Drive and West Olympic Boulevard, Roxbury Memorial Park covers 11 acres with space for basketball, tennis, sand volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, lawn bowling, picnicking and grilling.

The Roxbury Park Community Center offers various activities for seniors, from aerobics to sculpting classes, and a daily, low-cost lunch available from 11:30am to 12:15pm. Programs are available for other age groups as well, from pre-schoolers to adults. For more information about activities at the park's community center, or to reserve space for a gathering, call the number provided.

Located across from La Cienega Park, the La Cienega Tennis Center features 16 courts, all equipped with lights for nighttime matches. The facilities are open daily from 7am to 10pm. Closing times are subject to change on a seasonal basis, and rates vary as follows:

Weekdays from 7am - 4pm:
Beverly Hills residents $7
Non-residents $10

Weekdays after 5pm:
Beverly Hills residents $8
Non-residents $11

Weekends:
Beverly Hills residents $8
Non-residents $11

Court reservations can be made in advance by purchasing a Leisure Services Card, which costs $7 for Beverly Hills residents and $16 for non-residents. Proof of residency is required, and the card must be renewed annually. Patrons without a leisure services card can access courts on a first-come, first-served basis or play as a walk-on. When all players are under 18 years old, the fee is half the normal rate.

Tennis instruction is available from the on-site pro shop. Tennis ball machines are available for rent at $8 an hour, plus a court fee. Players are not allowed to wear black-soled shoes on the courts.

La Cienega Tennis Center is maintained by the city's Recreation and Parks Department.

Located along a one-block stretch of South La Cienega Boulevard, between Gregory Way and Olympic Boulevard, La Cienega Park offers three baseball diamonds, two soccer fields, a jogging track, various playground equipment, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Some fields are situated across the street at the northwest corner of South La Cienega and Olympic Boulevard, at Frank Fenton Field.

The La Cienega Park Community Center offers a variety of classes for both children and adults, as well as a year-round pre-school. There are also meeting and party rooms available for rent. For more information about reserving a space, call 310-285-6810.

The Jewish Educational Movement was founded in 2001 and offers local students a variety of programs, including community service opportunities, after-school programs, social events and a kiddie camp for ages 3 to 5. Located in the former YMCA building on Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills, this private facility has an indoor Olympic-size pool, NBA-size basketball court and professional karate classes. This organization also provides a summer camp experience for Jewish children who learn to appreciate the Jewish culture through Israeli dancing, Shabbat parties, stories, barbecues, plays and contests.

The Wallis Annenberg Cultural Center of Beverly Hills will be located in the historic Beverly Hills Post Office building at the corner of North Crescent Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard. Currently under construction and opening in fall 2013, this historic landmark will be converted into a performing arts and cultural facility featuring theater, dance, music and cultural activities for residents and visitors in Beverly Hills. The new 500-seat Goldsmith Theater will be built next to the post office as part of the center, and will host musicals, children's events, lectures and more.
