Center On Halsted is committed to advancing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) movement. The office is open daily and resides in the heart of Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood. The organization involves itself with the community at large through activities, services and programs.
Concordia Lutheran Church is a Christian Church in Chicago's North Center community. Its services include Sunday worship, child care, children's and adult choir, Sunday school and youth groups. Its ministry services include outreach, health, education, music and social services.
Situated on about three acres, Holstein Park is a community gathering spot. The field house, completed in 1912, contains two gymnasiums, an assembly hall with a stage and smaller room available for rental. On the north side of the field house are a large swimming pool, kid's wading pool and a playground with a water sprayer. On the south side of the field house, there are ball diamonds, a large field and basketball hoops.
