Founded in 1949 by a group of parents and pastors, Northwest Christian Schools serves more than 775 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 through its elementary, middle and high schools. The school is accredited by Northwest Association of Schools & Colleges. It includes an academic building, chapel, activity center, gymnasium and athletic fields. Northwest Christian Schools academic curriculum includes classes, such as reading, art, science, math and computers. Its schools also offer physical education, orchestra, occupational therapy and speech pathology programs. Northwest Christian Schools provides food services to its students. It has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several fundraising events, as well as encourages parental involvement in children s education.
