Founded in 1982 to assist refugees from southeastern Asia, The Genesis Center is a multiservice organization that offers a range of services to immigrants and low-income families. It also serves up to 70 children in its childcare program. The Genesis Center s staff and students represent more than 25 countries and over 10 language groups. The center operates an on-site child care center that offers services to over 30 infants and toddlers and nearly 40 children between the ages of three and five. The Genesis Center has served approximately 7,500 students from more than 20 countries.
