Established in 1974, CASP, also known as the Community After School Program, is a private, nonprofit agency that offers before- and after-school programs. The agency serves more than 700 elementary children in Norman Public Schools and Robin Hill Public School. It works in partnership with the United Way Norman. Moore Norman Technology Center, located in Norman, Okla., and established in 1972, is one of the leading providers of educational, career and technical education. The center provides more than 30 long-term career programs in the areas of business administration, computer information systems, construction, engineering, health and human services, and humanities. The courses cover various fields, such as accounting, business technology, computer programming, Web development and e-commerce, air conditioning and refrigeration, automotive collision and service technology. The health-related programs provided by the center include biotechnology, diagnostic medical sonography, health science and surgical technology. Additionally, Moore Norman Technology Center provides courses in career exploration education, early care and children education, cosmetology and entrepreneurship.
