East Wake Academy is located in Zebulon, N.C., and has been providing educational programs for the students since 1998. It serves Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash and Wake counties in North Carolina and concentrates on providing individualized training to students. It involves parents in various class activities, field trips, talent programs and community service events. The school provides a teaching program for students in grades kindergarten through 12. Its core curriculum includes English as a second language, language arts, arts education, mathematics, social studies, science, computer and technology skills, second languages, healthful living classes and career technical education. It offers an early learning program for kindergarten students that include word play, storytelling, writing activities and decoding and comprehension skills. It offers fun and learning activities for students, including karate, guitar and dance lessons, theater arts, book fairs, sports tournaments, picnics, family nights and law and justice trainings. East Wake Academy organizes summer athletic camps for students that include basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and soccer.
