Located in the heart of campus, Wheaton College bookstore caters to the short- and long-term needs of its students, offering textbooks and photocopies. Other products include sweaters, dolls and banners for showcasing school pride.
Wheaton College Adams Hall is home to the school’s art department. The location offers a range of facilities and areas, including for painting, sculpture and drawing as well as gallery space for shows. Some facility features include a lecture hall, labs, numerous gallery areas, computer labs, smart classrooms, faculty offices and more. It also has wi-fi Internet service.
McAllister Hall, near the West Gate entrance of Wheaton College campus, is home to the Wheaton Conservatory of music. McAllister Hall contains administrative and faculty offices, studios, practice rooms and rehearsal space for large ensembles.
St. Michael Catholic Church offers sacraments by request and priests hear confessions on Saturdays between 8:30am and 9:15am. It offers religious education classes for students in preschool through sixth grade.
Joan Treland and Associates is located in the Danada West professional building. Joan Treland and Associates is a tutoring service that offers comprehensive educational services and mentoring to children, adolescents, collegians and adults. It is certified by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement to help individuals with private and home schooling, as well as strategize and prepare for test-taking. Services include special education services, math, English, science, social studies, foreign language and other studies.
Wheaton Montessori School is the only Association Montessori International–approved school in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. It offers curriculum for children from 3 to 12 years of age. The school is non-denominational and non-profit and employs only teachers who have both a masters degrees and teaching certificates.
The school offers a hands-on curriculum that teaches the children responsibility through everyday activities such as washing their own lunch dishes and feeding the fish in the classroom. Basic elementary education is also taught using hands-on techniques.
