Established in 1981, Diablo Hills Country School is a family-operated preschool in a home-like setting.

With two locations, one in San Ramon and one in Danville, the school offers preschool classes for children ages 2 through 5 as well as before and after-school care.

Staples of this program include developmentally structured activities and small, home-like class rooms, low student-to-teacher ratios, hot lunches and transportation to and from local elementary schools. It is fully licensed by the state of California and has received several awards for its services, among them the PACE Child Care Center of the Year award in 2006.

The University of San Francisco's San Ramon Regional Campus is located in the Bishop Ranch Business Park adjacent to I- 680 in San Ramon. The University is a nationally and internationally recognized university with a reputation for excellence. 

The campus, which has more than 350 students, offers four undergraduate degree programs, five graduate degree programs and a Multiple Subject Teaching credential. The campus is a complete university facility with a full administrative and advising staff, seven classrooms, a library, and conference and break room. The San Ramon regional campus also has on-site librarians to help with research and on-site administration to assist with other concerns their students may have.

The San Ramon Center was founded in 1986 as the Center for Higher Education and moved to its new permanent campus facilities in November of 2006.  The college now serves over 5,000 students who work and live in the San Ramon Valley.  

The San Ramon Division consists of four departments: Applied Arts and Social Science, Computer Information Systems, Language Arts, and Math and Science.
