The Lucille Salter Packard Children's Hospital can be found in the Stanford Hospital and Clinics area. The front desk, nurses, and doctors are friendly and welcoming. The hallways are decorated with art pieces and unique photos. There is a working model train for kids to play with and a quiet outdoor seating area with plants and a fountain. Bay Area School of Performing Arts offers courses in dance, music and theater. The school provides instruction to students in Palo Alto, San Jose and Daly City. Specific courses include Creative Drama, Acting Fundamentals, Basic Acting, Songwriting, Teen and Junior Glee, Contemporary Jazz, Break Dancing, Hip Hop and Creative Movement. Spring and summer camp opportunities are available.
Foothill College Middlefield Campus is located at the Cubberley Community Center and offers day, evening and weekend classes for students throughout the San Francisco Bay area. This campus provides various courses, including accounting, child development, paramedic training and pharmacy, as well as language courses in Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Computers and technology classes are also available. There is a computer lab and a fitness program, in addition to a specialized program for post-stroke adults. The main campus for this school is located in Los Altos Hills.
Located in Palo Alto, Hope Technology School is a private, non-profit educational facility which provides preschool, elementary school and vocational learning opportunities for both typical students and students with special needs. Additional services include occupational, speech pathology and physical therapy. School tours are held the second Monday of each month at 3pm.
