It also features an audiovisual collection that includes audiocassettes, CDs, slides and tapes. The library provides microfilm and fiche readers and printers. The Research Medical Library operates circulation and collection departments. It has public computer workstations and classroom seating facilities. The library offers directional, equipment and online search assistance services. The Research Medical Library maintains the Historical Resources Center, which provides archives and oral history programs. It is a part of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, which offers clinical trials and educational and cancer treatment and prevention programs.
