Owner Frank Lyons is a passionate baseball card collector and hence, sports cards constitute a major part of his business. Grand Slam also holds events like Yu-Gi-Oh games on Monday nights and Saturday afternoons, and Topps Attax on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.

Some of our employees have the opportunity to personally travel to training sites, hotels, sporting venues and games, movie sets, and other locations to obtain the autographs showcased in our shop.
Brighton was started in 1991 by high school sweethearts Jerry and Terri Kohl with a collection of belts. Since then the company has expanded its line to include an array of unique products, including eyewear, jewelry, luggage, handbags, wallets, watches, accessories and more. Many of the products include engravings with special messages like “Live for Today” and “Wish Upon a Star.” Brighton frequently creates select items and donates a portion of the sales to charities. There are now more than 100 Brighton stores across the U.S. The Garden City store is located on the second floor of the Roosevelt Field shopping mall near Macy’s. A friendly, helpful staff is available to help you with personal and gift-giving needs. They also host numerous fundraisers, parties and other events.
