Westchester ARC is the oldest and largest agency in Westchester County serving adults and children with developmental disabilities and their families.  Founded in 1949 by a group of parents of children with mental regardation, Westchester ARC has grown to an organzation of over 600 employees who serve more than 1,600 people in the county.  Early intervention, teen youth groups, and living skills classes for adults are just a few of the services offered.

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester is a nonprofit organization that has been serving customers in Westchester and Fairfield counties in New York since 1949. The organization provides educational, recreational, rehabilitative, advocacy and vocational training services to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. It offers day treatment and rehabilitation services. Cerebral Palsy of Westchester also provides intensive behavior support, community integration counseling and independent living skills training solutions. The organization operates the Kiyoko Brown Lekotek Center, which offers play and learning opportunities to children with special needs up to the age of 8. Cerebral Palsy of Westchester additionally administers a range of vocational, community outreach and job training services.
