It is the perfect meeting spot to see friends, family or business associates because of its proximity to busy highways 101, 179 and 134. Like other Coffee Bean shops, it offers a myriad of different international coffees offered in different sizes and different preparations like latte, cappuccino and espresso. It also offers a selection of exotic teas that range from herbal to green teas from China and Japan. There's a food menu of pastries, sandwiches and salads that have been prepared in a central kitchen somewhere in Los Angeles, but they are fresh and priced well for the quality.
This branch of the international Starbucks chain of coffee shops is centrally located in the NoHo arts district, right on Magnolia Boulevard. There is a large outdoor patio that is usually very busy with people getting their java on, but there's also ample seating in the lounge inside. There is limited parking in back in the shared lot, but metered parking is pretty easy to find. Take a load off with the perennial coffee favorite and pick from a selection of snacks such as Rice Krispies bars, fruit plates, croissants and an array of muffins.
Yum Yum Donuts is centrally located at the corner of Lankershim and Oxford in North Hollywood. It offers a wide variety of doughnuts, as well as coffee and basic sandwiches on bagels. The doughnuts remain the real draw here, though, with more than 70 rotating varieties, including, cinnamon, twists and glazed doughnut holes. The interior is bright, with windows on the south and east sides to receive plenty of sunlight. There are five tables within the shop to accommodate those who wish to dine in. Doughnuts are available in single servings or in dozens. Credit cards are accepted and the store is open 24 hours per day.
Moby's Coffe & Tea Co. is an independent, family-owned coffee shop. The shop specializes in 100 percent organic coffee and offers a wide range of drink choices, including espresso, tea and much more. This establishment was formerly called Green Carrot also offers free Wi-Fi.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Toluca Lake has become a destination for local Valley-ites. Besides the exceptional coffee and tea, it has an incredible bakery that carries a variety of delicious cupcakes, muffins and bagels and a cozy environment. There is relaxing music over the PA system and a parking lot in the back.
