Peerless Coffee is an 80-year old, third generation, coffee and tea business based in Oakland, Calif., near historic Jack London Square. Its products include 80th Anniversary Blend, Colombian Supremo, French Roast Classic, Hawaiian Kona Fancy and Panfired Green Tea. The company also selects, processes and distributes a range of teas, including White, Green, Oolong and Black, the four major types of tea derived from the three types of Camellia sinensis plants: China, India and the cross breed Hybrid type. Peerless coffees and teas are enjoyed in many fine-dining restaurants, including Gary Danko in San Francisco, Bay Wolf in Oakland, and 23 Wolfgang Puck properties.
