American Legion is a nationwide organization dedicated to supporting veterans and community programs. The local Manoa Post 667 welcomes veterans from all branches of the armed forces. It supports and hosts holiday celebrations, community events, special dinners, bingo and movie nights and other activities. A banquet hall with a deck area is available for rental for parties with up to 100 guests.
Llanerch is an upscale private country club that requires membership for all services. The club has been at this location 1919. There is a regulation size 18 hole golf course as well as numerous tennis courts, a pool, a restaurant and a bar. There are special events on occasion and the Llanerch Country Club has hosted PGA championships in the past.
