The "Positive Place for Kids," the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan provides a safe and educational facility for kids between the ages of 6 and 18 to play, grow, learn and participate in a number of fun programs.

Additionally, the club is always looking for good people to volunteer and be role models, teach children and be a positive influence in children's lives.

The Croatian American Center is located on the south side of 22 Mile Rd. just before the M-53 overpass. It has everything you'd need for a great day of picnic fun. In the picnic shelter area there is an enclosed kitchen facility. Under the shelter there are more than 20 picnic tables. There is a full-size soccer field, playground for children all surrounded by woods for a great fresh air and nature backdrop.

Elite Indoor Sports offers a 28,000-square-foot indoor facility for soccer, lacrosse, flag football and more. It has camps and clinics to help athletes improve their skills. Throughout the year there are also youth and adult leagues for different sports (see web site for seasonal schedules). The Victor I. Rieck American Legion Post 351 serves veterans who served in World War I and II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, in Lebanon/Grenada, Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm.
