Knights of Columbus Council 5390 is located on Kacena Avenue in Marion. The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family organization. It was founded more than 100 years ago by Father Michael J. McGivney. At present it has more than 3 million members. The organization works with charities, fosters religious liberty, and promotes social and economic justice. Members can also purchase life insurance, long-term care insurance and annuity products.
The Eagles Lodge is the home of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #695 of Iowa City. The FOE is a nonprofit group that promotes the quality of life through peace, prosperity and health. Members must be sponsored by a current member. The organization holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for causes such as disaster relief and medical foundations.
