On 30 acres of woodlands overlooking Lake Quonnipaug, the New Haven Sportsman's Club offers indoor and outdoor shooting. It has an eight-shooting-position indoor range, a 50-yard outdoor pistol range, and an outdoor high-power rifle range. Also offered are matches, events and cowboy shoots.
The Guilford VFW is a vibrant organization that plays an important role in remembering and supporting our nation's veterans. This VFW has a lovely and large lodge that is located near a pond. The VFW is a community oriented group that organizes special events to benefit worthy causes such as Operation Elf.
